Ain't no party like your first party!!

It was all love for Mateyo's first birthday. A big contingent of family and friends represented nicely, and got treated to food, games, and red velvet cake!! Mateyo pulled out the big guns and was awake for the ENTIRE party, good job Mateyo..now go to sleep so your parents can get some rest!! Check out the rest of the pics!

The famz came together tonight to celebrate our year-long obsession. Mateyo turned one today at 10:39am and a big feast at the local buffett was in order. There's more festivities to come on Saturday, so keep posted for further coverage on this breaking story. By the way Obama/Biden '08 kinda has a weird ring to it.

Pagdiriwang at John Anson Ford Theatre

My dad invited us to a great show at the John Anson Ford being put on by Kayamanan Ng Lahi. It was called Pagdiriwang and displayed the beauty and fun of Philippine dance and music for kids (and adults) in the LA area. Mateyo was asleep when we got there, but as soon as he woke up, he was clapping along and pointing to the dancers on stage. When my dad was playing his bandurria on stage, Mateyo pointed and gave his customary "eh, eh" grunt.

We got together with the family to watch the Dodgers take on the Diamondbacks, little did we know that Manny Ramirez would be joining them the next game. We're excited, but could you have any worse timing? Enjoy the pics!
